I have been reading War of Honor and I am not sure if this is a flaw or just a typo in my copy. On page 175 Honor is “talking” with Draskovic and is about to leave when:
The single word popped out of Draskovic almost against her will, and Honor paused. She turned in place, looking at the Fourth Space Lord, and arched her eyebrows in polite question.
I looked back and the earlier references to Draskovic and the position of BuPers was the Fifth Space Lord.
Is it an oops or just a bad copy.
Thanks

I believe it's an ops. All information says Draskovic was the Fifth Space Lord during Janaceks second admiralty. My copy also refers to her as the fourth.

She was definitely Fifth; the Fourth Space Lord is head of BuWeaps, Honor wouldn't be taking a personnel issue there.

You must have an older edition, mine also says Fifth. A few pages earlier she is specifically mentioned as Lucien Cortez's replacement.

And its page 275. ;)

It's page 261 in mine, which says Fifth.

That's not bad, all things considered. I got the Serrano trilogy to read during a holiday and the second book had reset to the beginning about halfway through! It's not many books that goes beginning, middle, beginning, middle with no end.

I just want to thank Troll for starting us in this direction. My copies (both electronic and paperback) are the corrected title. More importantly to me, the search reintroduced me to the book which I hadn't reread for a couple of years, and is bringing me great joy rereading while we wait for word on the next release.
