Badly (& unreasonable) disdained, so he tripped on a ladder, who hasn't? better than his successor, who really screwed the pooch!

Almost only counts in Horseshoes and Nuclear Weapons. I almost got the Hand-Grenade out the window does not count.

well they spent some money for upgrades, but even if the F-35 falls apart, this ship can still be used with other air craft, Helos, V-22s etc... & it's not a "carrier" so-much as a troop transport anyway (unlike QE).

that's less than the range of a 20mm, & less than 1% the range of a radar, yea watch for my carrier launch with that, I'll use radar.

doesn't need to be, just = or < the EM put out by the ships electrical systems. It has how-many nuclear reactors, running 24/7 with electrical coolant pumps, not to mention the huge steam-powered dynamos coming off them and then there's the huge electric motors running the shafts, and then there's all the EM coming off the ships active radar, it's not like the things ever going to be a stealth fighter.

Don't be conspicuous, it draws fire. That's why Aircraft Carriers are called "bomb magnets"

Actually I was doing some research on this, the exclusion of a well deck was not entirely for the F-35 (of which she will normally have 6), it was primarily for the 12 MV-22B Ospreys she will carry. the reinforcement mods are for the F-35 but only a minor mod that could have been done during construction but would have delayed launch. Even without the F-35 the lack of a well deck is to provide more accommodations for the V-22 not so-much the F-35.
