Busy writing. He disappears periodically when he's in the middle of a project.

His writing is the sole support for at least 5 people. And as 3 of them are about 13 and another has had major medical issues, getting things done on the schedule that keeps publishers promptly writing him those checks is really damn important. He'll be at Honorcon, show up at the con suite in the evening.

as much as i'd love to go to honorcon i am unable. however its the over 2 months without logging on that i was wondering about, not lack of info, as far as i'm concerned if he writes it i will read it (to be fair i have found it difficult to get into the hells gate series but thats neither here nor there) to be more clear i know that sharon had medical issues recently and was hoping all is well at home |

Not only that, check out the recent weather reports on South Carolina a couple of weeks ago. They had IIRC over foot of rain throughout most of the state. |

Yes, we did, but the Greer/Greenville area wasn't hit quite so hard. We had a lot of rain, but the summer was so dry, the South Carolina clay soaked up most of it. With over ten days of rain, we didn't start seeing puddles here in Greer until about the eighth day. The hardest hit areas were a couple hours south of here. =================

Yup. I swear, saying something inaccurate and vaguely insulting seems to be the best way to draw him out. The next time he's behind on snippets we need to make a thread about Frigates, it'll get him back on schedule. |
