In Australia, at least, it is now late in the evening.
My daily pilgrimage to Minotaur has borne no fruit. This afternoon, shortly before closing time, I was told that six crates of books had arrived from somewhere but no one was going to work late to unpack them and see what they contained. Oh, well! LAMA was two days late down here, back in February 2014. I'm not browsing too deep here right now, for fear of further spoilers, so I'll catch you all in due course! |

Even worse!
Today Amazon.co.uk have reported that:- "We regret to inform you that the following items have been delayed: Weber, David "Hell's Foundations Quiver (Safehold)" Estimated arrival date: October 28 2015 - November 02 2015 I'm travelling next week, if I find a copy then Amazon will be cancelled. This is far too near official delivery dates for a delay to be notified. Even if the delayed delivery is as stated I will not be home to read the book until 5th December.! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! |

I share your pain, I got exactly the same email from them today. Pretty damned gutted to be honest, so i'll see how long I can resist buying the ebook as well. Shame as I paid extra to have it delivered today... |

I wonder if it is TOR who have let Amazon down? Or Amazon USA feeling that overseas does not matter, especially with the way the envious are attacking Amazon UK's employment and Tax status at the moment? |

Today is supposed to be my ship date from Amazon, but, strangely/magically I cannot access my order at all! Not even to see its status! Pits! I've waited since 2014 for this book, and now they do this! I am more than pissed!!!!!

I could not resist the offer of purchasing the Kindle version for $2.99 for those who had pre-ordered the book. It arrived this morning on my Kindle. The book is not scheduled to be shipped for about a week.
There is a caveat: the maps on the Kindle require one to have the eyesight of an eagle. Tiny. I think I will read the Kindle and have the book open to the maps at some point. But reading will commence today anyhow (at the Doctor's waiting room).

That sucks. Is that just for the hardback? Or did the Amazon.uk e-book get delayed as well? |
