None yet at Barnes & Noble in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. The girls answering the phones at the various stores seem to be getting amused at my polite addiction.

Got my copy. Not sure if any other forum members live in eastern North Carolina or not. But if anybody is in the area, the Barnes & Noble in Greenville NC has it.

Out of luck in Oklahoma. B&N in both Tulsa and OK City don't have it, will probably get it Tuesday, Full Circle in OK City doesn't have it, Hastings in Bartlesville and Muskogee do have it but refuse to sell it until the 13th.

According to Amazon.de, I will get my papercopy at October 19th. Just checked. But I still hope, the ship or airplan with my copy on board will come to Germany a little bit sooner, so Amazon can deliver a little bit sooner, too ... But fortunately, I have ordered the ebook, too, and Oct. 13th isn't so far away now ... only 3 times sleeping.

Hi Eagleeye,
I ordered my paperback copy at http://www.buecher.de three days ago under http://www.buecher.de/shop/science-fict ... /42053222/ It arrived yesterday in Jena So if you don't want to wait for your paperback till the 19th, there seems to be a possibility... Best Regards Sri Syadasti

Arrrggg...
Work is sending me out of town bright and early Monday morning for the entire week and my copy is just now leaving Muscle Shoals, AL for Cartersville, GA. I imagine I'll drive by the UPS truck heading to the house as I go to the airport Monday morning. I don't get back to the house until Tuesday a week. Let's see, its a four hour drive to Muscle Shoals, wonder if they'd let me pick up the package there... Guess I'll have to spring for the ebook version as well and download in Maryland. |

Be my guest, it doesn't harm me at all - it is your soul that will suffer. --
A common mistake people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools. |

Called 15 minutes ago, and it was in! It's 5 minutes away, so I'm back with my hard copy.
The comfy reading chair awaits, with foie gras and my favorite beverage at hand. Talk to you all in a day or so... |

Ohoogah, ohoogah, dive, dive. I just got mine from local library and will dive into it and not come up for air until Monday or Tuesday (except for Seahawks game tomorrow).

Whiskey. Tango. FOXTROT?!?
Okay, this stinks. I pre-ordered my Kindle version from Amazon months ago. And it won't be available on my Kindle app until Tuesday, when I'm off vacation. It couldn't be released on my vacation, when I have tons of time to read, oh noooo.... (I'm not annoyed at having to wait, just annoyed at some bookstores breaking street date. Breaks the rules of the game, you see.) |
