Cheer up Howard. We might get more snippets after RFC untangles whatever went wrong...who knows. Hope springs eternal...

In retrospect it seems pretty clear that RFC hit the snippet limit two months early, which is understandable with the change in the publishing schedule, and the fact that the last snippet was an entire chapter, which if he'd had time to snippet regularly, he'd probably have split it into three or four snippets. Not that we'd have learned much if he'd snippeted the next scene, but if he'd ended the snippets with the cliffhanger on page 165, (or was it 168?) we'd all be screaming for inquisitor's blood and dying to know what happened next! I certainly wanted everyone from the entire order (minus Paityr Wylsynn, who isn't an inquisitor) shortened by a head! Not that I've given enough details to constitute posting a spoiler, but I've never been as riled up and thirsted more for justice than while I read that scene... Well written RFC! "Oh bother", said Pooh as he glanced through the airlock window at the helmet he'd forgotten to wear. |
