Space/Future Opera seems to be alive and well judging by all the new shows that have come out in the last year/or2 and are coming out. Lets home it continues.

Movie Interstellar movie was great and we now get "science fiction", erm more like future fantasy on the SyFy network channel.

Here's to new space opera and the new stuff coming out as well.

I have not watched TV in over 20 years. But ... might just make a fresh new start with all the good new speculation non network Science Fiction Space Opera TV shows. Some of them I have been told are very good indeed. Right now my little spare time is spent reading good books.

Huh? What do yo mean? Details, details, tell me!

Last I heard, the SciFi channel was filled with nothing but cheap trash. Have things changed?

They had two new space based shows over the summer.

Killjoys - A series about a team of interstellar bounty hunters. I only watched the pilot, but mostly because I usually forgot it was on
Dark Matter - A series about a group of people on a ship who wake up from stasis with no memory of who they are, only to discover that they're (mostly) wanted fugitives and mercenaries. This is produced by a couple of the producers of the Stargate franchise.

Never gonna happen. And yes I agree it was great. Look where all those actors have gone from that show. Talk about a stacked roster...
