1) Where
2) Of course one will strip the interior. That is easy. Blowing out internal non structural walls is absurdly easy no matter what the construction is as the internal volume was already there to begin with before being divided. As the ship in question was modified using a standard freighter to begin with.
Hello: the MARIANNE was already being used as a cargo hauler to begin with..... IT just happened to have a gas system pushing folks to the cargo bay doors which are just normal cargo bay doors.
Harold, the equipment clause is for the gas system... which dumps into the existing ventilation ducts. Read SoSag, Crown of Slaves for clearer definitions of the equipment clause. A very good description is in Crown of Slaves when taking the ship.
Last I checked, slaves are not given 5 ***** Star accommodations, meaning any walls that are present will be paper thin meeting bare minimum reqs and therefore absurdly easy to remove.
