How about The Chalice Cluster in Silesia? I don't remember if that went to The Aldermani or Manticore but didn't it have yards that produced up to cruiser sized ships? If it is now a Manticorian area (three planets in three systems) then it has a goodly number of people who are at least capable of working in a modern warship yard and can learn the steps up to current Manticorian tech though they don't have it in the actual yards in Chalice yet.

Bring the people to Manticore as experienced yard and admin people. Probably even lend a bunch to Grayson.

I would guess that they also have missile lines that could be converted to or at least serve as the basis of an upgrade to multi-drive reloads for the RMN on everything from CM to Mk 23s.

It was listed somewhere. IIRC, they had one BC yard, one CA or CL yard and two DD yards. But they built ships based on obsolete tech, so they pretty much only offer a base to construct new yards.

It went to Manticore. It's seen on the HoS map.

Silensia had lots of yards, only 1 was large enough for BC/BBs . And yes, it appears it too is in Manticorian space (in the Silensia system). Most Silensian yards are CL sized and smaller, and all produce crappy ships. For ex, the Silensian BCs had the same size (and count) lasers as Manty CLs. The techs don't have the modern know how, the the shipyards would need completely overhauled to produce the Manty designs made in 1900 pd, let alone now.

Is Silensia used in a translated version of the novels instead of Silesia, just like we see Aldemani instead of Andermani? Or are they just typos that never gets fixed?

Both look to me like a spell checker set on auto-correct.
