Hello everyone. I am excited about the forthcoming Safehold book but I am having some very painful Honorverse withdrawl. I need a fix badly and was wondering if anyone out there in Treecat Land has any inkling when RFC is going to get back to the Honorverse?
I'm not begging(really I'm not) but I'm like a junky in need of a fix bad. |

The Mad Wizard Weber said in a Safehold snippet posting about two months ago that he was working on the next Honorverse novel now. No details yet on what it is about, only that it was on the plate and being worked currently.

If he keeps to his usual schedule, I'd expect that he'll turn in the manuscript to Baen sometime in the first half of October. This is based on absolutely nothing other than a non-scientific wild-assed guess, though. |

I'm starting to think we should have a sticky thread at the top for this subject, given how many newbies start threads about it. One that states, "No, We Don't Know When The Next Book Is Coming And When We Do We Will Tell You."
(That's no knock on the newbies, you understand - I think the only reason I didn't do the same thing when I was a newbie was because I already knew when CoG was due out - but God, there have been a lot of them lately.) ~*~

Part of the problem I think, is that the website doesn't get updated as much as it could be. We still have A call to duty as the next book coming and that was out in October of last year. Too bad whoever is running the site can't have a section such as Brandon Sanderson does, listing what the author is working on and what the completion level is for each work. This would eliminate the constant queries as to when the next book is out Ghost |
