Is it just me or had it been an incredibly long time since our last dose of junk-food-for-the-brain?

Yes, but diets require structure... we would know when we get to partake in goodness with the end goal of the entire textev in only a 7 more weeks!!

I habitually incorporate a "fat day" into my diet. So all week it's chicken, rice, and salad, then one day I just demolish a large pizza, anything stuffed with cheese and fried, and as much ice cream as I can hork down. I'm just saying....mentally its gotta be almost time for my fat day

Tofu for you and you and you (nasal Frenchified affect). :D
Snippetless for 4 weeks - fruitless scan of forum but no sign of MWW.
However, 2400 tonight gives us Seven Squared till October 13th, Day of HFQ!
What are the odds of a #29 at this time - Is it one of those things that causes a person to gesticulate loudly and say "At this point, What difference does it make?" Would we be better off in taking a reread of the opus at a book a week, so that we would be ready for whatever insidious and devious deviltry that will be visited upon us by MWW?!

It certainly does seem to be a fruitless endeavor, doesn't it?

Well I've had my surgery, now I'm lying in bed, surviving from pain pill to pain pill with no intellectual stimulation and watching the insanity of Day time TV with it's mindlessness.I have only two small anchors of sanity to cling too. The next Safehold book, and that's weeks away, and the return of Doctor Who, which is also weeks away. Not trying to be pushy, or anything but another Snippet would sure be nice!
