I honestly quit checking daily, and only log in every couple of weeks to see if a new snippet has arrived. The best bet for a new snippet is probably Sunday the 16th, since it seems RFC has a bit more time to post snippets on weekends.

If that doesn't happen, then it's random when then next one will show up. As much fun as RFC has had posting them, I get the distinct impression that it's becoming a chore for him, since he's always apologizing for taking so long between postings snippets, after which he gives us entire chapters (which I love) instead of splitting the chapter into several snippets. The delay is seriously hampering the amount of discussion here on the forums - after all, I used to check in and comment three times a week, after Drak posted each comment like clockwork. Now I show up every couple of weeks or so, and I'm sure that I'm not the only one.

So once again, I'm begging RFC to return the task of snippeting to Drak, who I'm sure would be most happy to do it, while smiling smugly like a dragon who is spitting up an occasional piece of armor...

Careful though Drak - the snerk collar can get awfully tight!

I agree. I do check in every day out of habit. Even without snippets, Safehold is still the liveliest of the forums... Honorverse forum has gone to seed. If I see another thread on what to do with captured Solly SDs, I'm gonna croak...

Still, we do need some fresh threads. I'm rereading Safehold in anticipation of the arrival of HFQ. Maybe I can find something to rehash, er, I mean discuss.

Send them across realities to Safehold. Destroy the OBS. Drop a KEW on various Armies of God. Manticore can afford that much charity from the smelters!

(Please don't croak! :) )

So ... are you iterating the reiterations or are you reiterating the iterations?

Er...dunno (perpetual confusion). That's a bit over my head (normal). :? Rehash is about as complicated as I get.

Not to overly excite those of us with tender sensibilities, as of today, 08/18/15, the big reveal will be in 8 weeks, a mere 56 days! 8-)

Hope everything at the RFC / MWW manse in South Carolina is going well. Ditto for all of my fellow forum addicts.

I'm not that proud! I'll grovel... (picture of me groveling abjectly) .

Don't know about anyone else, but I find my anticipation level begins going up at about the two-week mark, and (when graphed on a "anticipation over time" curve) gets pretty darned high at the three-week mark. I find myself checking the snippet post about 20 times per day... I find it difficult to concentrate on "real" work... I find my attention span decreases to that of a hummingbird... Rather like crack cocaine withdrawal I'd imagine!

See what you're doing to me Celery Chomper?!? Aren't you ashamed???

I am not too proud to beg. It has been a long time since my last hit of HFQ. Please Mister Cellulose Pursuer, may I (and my fellow addicts) have another? We are suffering major withdrawal symptoms and it is still over a five day of five days till the book that I ordered months ago shows up in my mailbox. (Especially since it has been two days since the last request.)
