Ah, grasshopper, you were too early! 8-) It is only now, 15:43 on August 10th, that the wait time has exceeded a fortnight (2 weeks)! As for its efficacy, it hasn't done a thing in the past!

As of tomorrow, 08/11/15, the big reveal will be in 9 weeks, a mere 63 days!

I enjoy snippets when they show up as much as anybody. But I'm no longer holding my breath.

Unless you like being blue and cold, this is a good thing.

However, for this thread, I'd say you are in the minority! There is a certain addictive quality to having a drop of snippet here and there.

Mr. MWW,

Do you need some more pawns to pawn off upon? My snippet stock has been seriously sundered so someone certainly needs to be summoned!

Hi all,

Its now been 16 days since the last snippet.

So we may get another soon.

But as has been said, don't hold your breathe. ;)

I don't know if RFC plans to send only a couple more snippets, to have only 30 total, though I strongly doubt the number matters to him.

If he blesses us with another or couple, they'll be great.

Any snippet or post from RFC is good if not great!

When I get up in the morning, the first thing I do is check if rfc has given us something.

Still waiting, tho...

Ditto - same results! :(

Hoping this changes this weekend. 8-)

I am only a 50% pessimist. ;)

I honestly quit checking daily, and only log in every couple of weeks to see if a new snippet has arrived. The best bet for a new snippet is probably Sunday the 16th, since it seems RFC has a bit more time to post snippets on weekends.

If that doesn't happen, then it's random when then next one will show up. As much fun as RFC has had posting them, I get the distinct impression that it's becoming a chore for him, since he's always apologizing for taking so long between postings snippets, after which he gives us entire chapters (which I love) instead of splitting the chapter into several snippets. The delay is seriously hampering the amount of discussion here on the forums - after all, I used to check in and comment three times a week, after Drak posted each comment like clockwork. Now I show up every couple of weeks or so, and I'm sure that I'm not the only one.

So once again, I'm begging RFC to return the task of snippeting to Drak, who I'm sure would be most happy to do it, while smiling smugly like a dragon who is spitting up an occasional piece of armor...

Careful though Drak - the snerk collar can get awfully tight!

"Oh bother", said Pooh as he glanced through the airlock window at the helmet he'd forgotten to wear.
