HFQ Kindle just bought for $2.99!

I have had the dead-tree print version of order almost since it was officially posted on Amazon so I already have whatever the final published price is for the 10/13/15 delivery BUT TONIGHT I was more than startled to see that the Kindle price on AMAZON was posted for $2.99 for electronic delivery on the same day. I have no idea if that is a special price for those who have already ordered the physical edition BUT as a service to my fellow denizens, maybe you should check for yourselves!

Just went back to check and I did see that this was a special pricing for having already ordered it as the hardback edition! Still good as that enables me to start my read at the wee small morning hours of Tuesday, 10/13/15!

$17.09 here and delivery October 13, though that is the Australian price

I had the Kindle version on order for $14.99 from Amazon almost as soon as it was posted. Then I saw the hard cover listed at $14.85 (approx) so I ordered it.

Then I clicked on the Kindle link a few days later and it came up at $2.99 since I had ordered the hard cover. I quickly canceled the early Kindle order and reordered it at the discount price.

Nothing like saving $12

I'm pretty sure Amazon price matches the preorder to their latest price when the order is fulfilled. I've gotten emails from them saying I've saved X amount when I've done preorders of games that dropped in price before release.
