What, no begging since the 21st??? My gosh three whole days without a snippet request. Color me shocked. Well I'm hoping this evening since it's been about two weeks. Here's hoping! Brightens my day considerable.
On the other hand if posting snips were to slow down his getting the next Honor book out I'd have to say that I would be severely torn on the subject. With Mike and her fleet having arrived at Mesa I'd truly like to know if the Mesan superman actually managed to scrub their computers as thoroughly as they think. And then there's the fight at Beowulf to go and... Yea I could stand for another Honor mainline novel.
And you got to recognize there's only one David Weber and he can only write so fast.

Waiting for the next Weber is like holding my breath. I never realized how lony it was to do it alone before I checked into the forums... :?

It's not that long until HFQ is published so I'm not too worried if we've had the last snippet already

Please let us know, though, O Lord High Celery Chaser.

Normally try to do better with my proofing. Lonely was what was intended, but now that you mention it, loony doesnt sound too bad. I've been accused of worse! :o

So obviously we need to have the insidious Mesans *clone* him. That way we could have one "Weber" working on each upcoming book.

We could even have them create one "extra", so Sharon could get some chores done around the house, as well.

I don't know... Can you imagine all of the arguements David could get into arguing plots and character development with himselves? Probably drive poor Sharon nuts...

Hmm sounds like something out of Gilbert and Sullivan. Ah yes I recall it now:

"And Party Leaders you might meet
In twos and threes in every street
Maintaining, with no little heat,
Their various opinions."
(Don Alhambra Del Bolero, The Gondoliers, Act II)

Concerning a foolish king who promoted everyone to the top of their ladder's, so to speak. One imagines the sight might be quite similar.

Whilst someone maybe a very good author the time management skills seem to be sadly missing. You give the publishers a document; when will it be published?, then schedule a number of teasers at a required intervals to be sent out by one of your minions. Saves time and energy and leaves you with more time with the family, and, saves you from conflict with "She who must be obeyed"!!

Bluntly get you act organized......

Hi Pe249,

Welcome to the forums, please enjoy your favorite simulated beverage on the simulated forum. ;)

Another long snippet 18 days after the last is much better than last month, and at this rate we might expect another 4 before October 13th.
