Sending him something that would cause his speech to slur while he dictates his next novel might achieve some rather hilarious results, but it wouldn't be good for his productivity (But I'd sure like to read it!)

Technically, based on his self-chosen username, he'd be more responsive to a refrigerated packet of a certain long, stringy vegetable...

I suppose we should include some dental floss with our "bribe." :P

"Oh bother", said Pooh as he glanced through the airlock window at the helmet he'd forgotten to wear.

Hope that our favorite word dealer providing welcome distractions to his collective readership is happy and his whole family is doing well. Some word of affirmation that this hope is reflected in reality from one of RFC's tree clan would be greatly appreciated.

In the meantime some more red meat, in the form of a snippet, for his Safehold (and other) fans would be most appreciated. The posters here are going a little off the rails. I mean, really, temple lights as a discussion thread? But then people get a little crazy when they don't get enough of the proper food to eat and words to read. Not saying that these fractal threads are not educational but another snippet is what we all want. Please MWW, may we have another?

Perhaps he is perusing which tasty snippet to feed us next that will provide enough discussion and debate to keep us busy until release?

:D
OK, as of today, Thursday, July 9th, it is only 95 days to HFQ release (Will it be released at 00:01 on Oct.13th?) So, it is only 3 months to THE BIG READ! Knowing my fellow denizens of this place, in 100 days from NOW, someone will bemusedly wanting a snippet of the NEXT BOOK.
:o
Personally, I'm hoping that RFC is enjoying the dog-days (Sirius is visible) of summer with a tall, cool, wife-approved beverage and kicking back with family and friends. Completing this story arc is more important to me that (gasp!) the provision of addicting snippets. Of course thinking upon this there are SEVERAL story arcs that I'd like our author to address since he has been so prolific in leaving dangling threads.

Hi Charybdis,

Yes it's a gloriously huge snippet, with questions to be answered, bur not here, and all of us owe RFC great fealty for this mercy.

I hope such fine language expresses our honest thanks for his bounty.

We did get a double dose last time, and I doubt we've plumbed the depths of chatter about it yet.

With the size of #27, I am assuming nothing until August 1st Weekend although I'd love to be surprised! As it stands, I'm thinking we will get 4-6 more snippets before those precious bundles and electrons get into our hot little hands on or about 10/13/15. 8-)

I further predict that by 10/31/15, the cranky will crank up again!

On a different note entirely - The Tour de France enters the Alps for its final week and the US Rider & Team, Teejay van Garderen of BMC Racing, has a very good chance of being 2nd or 3rd in the overall standings next Sunday! As one of only 3 US participants, he was given little chance at the beginning of the Tour but is in 3rd place right now. He is up against a lot of firepower from the race favorites but still I'm rooting for him! :D
