Hi Don,

I'd expect Sharpfield to get an update on what's going on in Gorath City, including details on what Thirsk tried to do for Admiral Manthyr and his men, NTM any new surprises Lt. Zhwaigair may have come up with via the seijin spy network before he ever got close to Dohlar or GC.

Hopefully such data might mitigate his rightful 'revenge' by more properly pointing the blame at Clyntahn not Thirsk.

We can hope.

Any snippet or post from RFC is good if not great!

Since someone already brought up WWII, maybe I can mention this without Godwinning myself.

The kill-on-sight policy toward Inquisitors may backfire. The Commissar Order, according to some accounts, stiffened the resolve of the Red Army.

Perhaps, but both the Red Army and the commissars were at least supposedly part of the same side.

It's not the AOG that's going to be doing the killing of the Inquisitors, it's members of the ICA or RSA who are going to be doing it. And, based on the story line so far, most of the Inquisitors seem to only be "courageous" when their foes are either unarmed or else minimally armed. Most of the troops actually putting their lives on the line are probably sick and tired of them. While they may not oppose them directly, a fair percentage of them probably wouldn't go out of their way to save one of them, either, as long as no one's looking over their shoulders.

Possible, and in fact likely.

You might be right on this one. But we might be a bit cautious here. Where the inquisitors are most visible to the troops would be in their role as chaplains. It could be that at least some of the time, the troops they are serving with them could actually identify with them and be willing to protect them.

To add to that, there's a short story titled Fanatic by Eric Flint (RFC) (both?) that talks about the role of People's Commissioners in the Haven Navy. (Well, Yuri Radamacher's role, anyway.)
