I a matter of interest, just how long does it take to prepare and post a snippet?

I would think that it is a question of deciding how much, and then finding the appropriate spot for a cliff hanger. :P

Sigh, I am sure many others are doing the same (including me)

I shall not check the forum for a snippet.
Checking the forum is the little distraction which destroys productivity.
I shall ignore the snippets.
I shall allow them to pass over me.
And when they are gone, I shall look back of the forum and only I will remain!

Is like reading a chapter that Clyntahn must endure the questioning but not getting to read how he reacts to the news...

IIRC David noted snippet would be late and would be longer. Remember he has had health problems and is a little behind schedule and snippets are lower priority than meeting deadlines and putting food on the family table.

Snippets are on Indian time they happen when they happen :D

If they only would happen more often! ;) - Nonetheless you're right. Health and meeting deadlines come first.

I fully understand that RFC/MWW has other things on his plate. However right now, when it comes to the subject of HFQ snippets, I am at the point of agreeing with the old cartoon of two vultures in a tree. One vulture saying to the other "Patience #@%&. Let’s go kill something." :D

Flying to the other left coast and stalking a certain author is starting to seem like a viable course of action. (But I am far to cheap to spend the money and time to execute said activity.) :P
