the antik statues are only art, to destroy them is a waste of power

theres no one who prays to these statues

let them be they heave no meaning

if you destroy them you give them power

I partially agree with gcomeau.
Does the term spellcheck ring any bells, svenhauke?
In fact, you may want to check your grammar as well.
Of course, I understand if English is not your first language.
Though, I am curious. Which language is?

I believe German is from one of his threads in the Honorverse forum.

Well Radical Islam is not playing nice again:

Hmm, makes one wonder why anyone would dare suggest nuking Mecca. Islam is spread by two things: Join our faith or die, and leave our faith and die.

Well time to bring up a new controversial subject.

Very humorous.

As it mentions I do think Obama doesn't genuinely see the threat of radical Islam for what it is.

A friend's comment led me to look into the bible and Sharia Law. Being too lazy to read the whole book I cheated and Googled "controversial bible verses".
I won't fill pages repeating what I found, but suffice to say the bible has everything I've ever heard about sharia and more.
Women are to obey men in all things, adulterous women to be stoned, blasphemous people-gays-those breaking dietary laws-rebellious slaves-disobedient sons, (and much more), to be arbitrarily killed in various ways. Weird dietary laws and official discrimination against the disabled and menstruating women abound. Not all was in the Old Testament either.
Thus the next time some religious person tries to justify their actions by saying "The bible says", I'll be even less receptive than I have been.
