They are identical to every other Navy uniform shown in House of Steel, just with the Medical Branch emblem or SBA rate patch. ________________

I think he's asking about 'battle dress' for RMN medics. I'm curious myself - do they wear skinsuits, for instance, when operating on wounded personnel? Or more appropriate hospital gear, whatever that is 2000 years from now? |

Military doctors wear the same as any other military. But I assumed the original poster was talking about civilian doctors.

I would expect everyone on ship would have skinsuits on as combat damage can cause loss of pressure in various areas of the ship. Even the personnel in he brig are issues prison skinnies during combat. |

If real life military and VA personnel are any guide, they wear standard uniform when not in a work (hospital) environment and white coats or "scrubs" when in a work environment. During combat or exercise conditions, they would wear protective gear (skin suits, haxmay suits, etc) with appropriate modifications to allow fine manipulations during treatment/surgery. .
. . Answers! I got lots of answers! (Now if I could just find the right questions.) |

All of the answers so far are about military doctors. What about civilians?

I wonder how much of a hindrance a skinsuit would be when attempting to provide emergency aid, or even surgery. I assume there as to be some loss of dexterity compared to just surgical gloves (or bare hands) When manning the aid station in preparation for battle do you prioritize the lives of the medical staff, by putting them in skinsuits like the rest of the crew; or do you prioritize aid to the injured having them in scrubs so their hands aren't even slightly encumbered in their medical work? |
