Anybody else have that awkward moment when you realize that you've worn the texture off of your refresh key, but the rest of the keys on your board, to include the home keys, still look factory fresh?

Oh God, I need help....

All very well for RFC to try and get away with his duties. At least he only has to get a mechanical device inserted not be on the waiting list for a replacement piece of equipment!! At the rate his publishers operate I shall not be able to read HFQ. Oh, Don ....which deity are you referring too???

Hes posted a snippet of another book in another forum so that means our lack of snippet is not due to him running late. I suspect he is continuing to slow the drip feeding so that the majority of the book will be able to be read by us in October.

I suggest that you might drop by on your local computer outlet and buy a new refresh key... It will help you feel better about your addiction. :P

Since you probably only need the key cap, it shouldn't be very expensive.

Bu the way, better get 2 or even 3, you never know...

If I am understanding your post aright than I will wish you the very best and say a prayer that you will be with us to read that next book.

Which book? Might as well get hooked on another forum too.

One thing about our requests, we KNOW that the book is "in the can" and like Prince Albert, it will be eventually let out. Still the snippets allow us that anticipatory frisson that feeds this addiction. While the wait for the whole book has shrunk to 129 days (June 6th), it is still a gap for our moral fortitude to span.

With your closing sentence here, I couldn't help but remember those cemetaries in Normandy with their neatly arranged white crosses. Sober thought. Thanks.
