Here is something a bit different for us to chew on. What's next for Sandaria? We observed her shock as she was exposed to the truth. Now she seems to be regrouping and is interacting positively to her situation...

Now she is going to read the Spanish portion of the journal. How will that impact her? Will she remain skeptical? Will she become part of the inner circle? What?

Well, as you said, after the initial shock she does seem to be reacting well to the truth. Perhaps she can join the Nimue's Cave Gang as a third member? Not sure what that would give to the story, but she's already there, so maybe?

Sandaria is going to ask for a written copy of the translation. Then, either she or one of the other women looking after the journal is going to compare the translation against the original to make certain the Merlin is playing no shenanigans, so far as that's possible. What I mean to say is that they will check to see whether "not" is translated as "not" and "shirt" is translated as "shirt" within the limitations of translations from one language to another. She will find some discrepancies, like when "dough" is translated as "batter" in some places and as "money" in others, but she won't find enough discrepancies to cry foul. Being unfamiliar with translation she is going to be worried, but will be satisfied by analogy with English and its overloading of definitions onto words. After that--it depends on what Kohdy wrote.

So, what are the odds that the demon who defeated Kohdy was Nimue Albin?

I'm hoping it was one of the Sarmacs.

This approach would yield more than a few "false" discrepancies. I am thinking of idiomatic expressions. I don't speak Spanish beyond what any restaurant server learns to communicate with his/her kitchen staff while working through college. That exposure as well as exposure to Dutch, German, Indonesian and French suggest that there are some odd direct translations if idiomatic expressions are not understood. I suppose they could be inferred, but then one must assume the translation is accurate so that any inference would also be accurate.

I am not sure this process would be helpful to Sandaria and might even suggest that she is being lied to.

I am certain that this process will happen. I am also nearly certain that false positives will occur. I estimate a good chance, say 80-20, that she'll decide that they are false positives.

We know that Nimue's PICA existed during the time in question. We know that there is a file containing Nimue's person that can be loaded and reloaded into PICAs. We know that Kau-yung's strike happened shortly after the Alexandria strike. We know that Kau-Yung recorded his message immediately before the Zion strike. We suspect that Kau-yung left Nimue's PICA in her cave when he recorded the message. We suspect that no one appropriated Nimue's PICA between the time Kau-yung recorded his message and the time Nimue awakened in her cave. If either of the last two suspicions are unfounded then I evaluate the chances as something other than zilch. Zilch plus epsilon, perhaps.

We also know on that Nimue's most recent memory when she woke up was of the plans for that expedition in the Andes on Old Earth. We know further further that Pei Kau-yung did not wake Nimue up right before his visit with Lanhorne both because he didn't want to deliver the news directly to Nimue in person and also because he was worried that Nimue would try to do something about it. Finally we know from the timer that it was set to waken her at 750 years.

Add all that together and we are as close to zip as it gets.
