Are we supposed to be on 14 plus, or 10 plus?

Last time we were wondering, McGuiness changed his tag line- and that got us a snip.
Come on Mac, step up here- get us another snippit!!
I'd normally consider switching to a new tagline after 14 days without a new snippet, but since RFC had surgery to install a pacemaker and we have no idea how that went, I'll happily wait for an update on his health before checking my calendar for when the next snippet would normally appear.

If RFC's medical procedure went well and he's feeling better, I'll switch taglines and add a very formal request for a new snippet, along with my best wishes for his and his family's health. After all, we could get snippets for the entire book, but if RFC isn't around to finish the story, they'd ultimately be meaningless.

So cross your fingers, say a prayer, and send your best wishes to RFC and his ticker, hoping that both of them are doing well.

It's times like this that I think RFC ought to give Drak his job back, just to ease the workload our favorite author is carrying. (Hint, hint!) ;)

"Oh bother", said Pooh as he glanced through the airlock window at the helmet he'd forgotten to wear.

All of which are good things for all of us to be doing and encouraging.

Clyntan's tirades. I was just thinking of a suitable demise for the grand vicar. Suppose his next tirade causes a stroke that leaves him partially paralized (and impotent). Whatever it is that gets him should be slow, lingering & painful since he's stored up so very much animosity.

Commodore I'm with you on this one. Rather than a snippet I'd far rather hear how RFC is doing health-wise. I can always wait on the book, but I'd rather the author was around for a while to finish up not just this series but the Honor books as well. On the other hand he's also a man with a family and friends, who he cares for and care for him. So I'd rather he took time out and relaxed and got well, even more than I want him to work on stories for our collective amusement. Lots of other stories to read. Only one David Weber. He should rest a bit and when he feels up to it move on with the writing.

A heartfelt "Amen" to this. Get well, Mr. Weber.

I did suggest this about two years ago, Bert, but MWW implied that this would not happen.
