Is anyone else really excited about the thought of seeing Adorai* Zhevons joining her brother Abraim in causing all manner of mischief and mayhem?

*Replace with name of your (or rather RFC's) choice.

I know Nimue's going to be spending most of her time in Corisande, keeping an eye on Hektor and Irys, but I'd love to see her get involved in a dramatic rescue or two, or some serious befuddlement of the Group of Four and their armies.

Does anyone else have anything they're really looking forward to seeing Nimue do or get involved with during the next few books?

Nimue might come in rather handy in rescuing Thirsk's family from the "protection" of the Inquisition. No inquisitor is going to fear a distant aunt or female cousin who drops by for a visit completely unarmed... He might try making a move on her though!

If that happens, I'll join Merlin and Cayleb in watching the slow motion replay...

"Oh bother", said Pooh as he glanced through the airlock window at the helmet he'd forgotten to wear.

The Inquisition will likely figure out that she's not related to them if they have files on Thrisk's entire family... But it doesn't make your vision any less "I want to see this".

BTW, Nimue would make a great spy anywhere she'd go to. Merlin mentioned after Hector and Irys' assassination attempt that they'd have to make people realize that women can be terrorists and generally dangerous people too, so who would suspect some elderly (or young) woman of spying for the other side? Inner Circle yes, Charis in general... maybe, Temple Loyalists... maybe/not likely, depending on who we're talking about.

I'll bring the fried potato slices!
Nimue's smaller size opens up whole areas of activities that Merlin's larger size prohibited. I'm sure we'll not be disappointed in the variety of roles our good author comes up with.

Aahh. the problem with that is unless Nimue changes her appearance (not an unlikely thing to do), she doesn't look like any Safeholdian alive. Her appearance is fairly distinct if I remember correctly. It's also unlikely that the men guarding Thirsk's family would let anyone, even family members to just visit, and any relative of Thirsk's should already be in 'protective custody' by the Inquisition. Just in case..

Humm... Nimue's not that far off the norm for Safehold. Merlin adjusted her height to be closer to the Safehold norm. There are other blondes and redheads mentioned. And she could deal with the color of her eyes with contacts. The significant differences wouldn't show up unless she found herself in a situation where she would have to mix it up with someone...then we would all want to watch the results...in slow motion

Darn it. Somehow this thread's title has gotten conflated with the South Park movie.

Now the voices in my head are singing "What would Nimue Chwaeriau do?" and/or "What would Merlin Athrawes do?"
