I've had PARTIAL success with connecting the "HMPS2U" from Hawking Technology up to the HP LaserJet 1220se.
...and that's all we had, PARTIAL success.
Thus, the decision was made to get a whole new printer.
I wasn't there at the time that an "HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M277dw" ended up getting chosen.
I can't really say the choice is good or bad. I say that because while our Androids and PCs are relatively up-to-date and modern, two of our three Macs are so old that there is NO DRIVER for this printer. We ended up selecting a "Generic PostScript Printer" driver (with Duplex printing checked) that seems to be mostly adequate so far.
Yea, yea, I know Cannon may have been a cheaper cost-per-page. As for Brother, I'd been warned off of them for their reliability, or long term lack thereof.
I'll likely end up returning the HMPS2U, assuming that the receipt has not been tossed out.
