Thanks. Almost finished with Shadow of Freedom, but was thrown off because of comment in Wikipedia. Is there be a followup to Shadow of Freedom in work and does it have a projected publication date?

Here is the full book list, in publication (and my recommended reading) order. As you can see, there are three books that came out after SoF.
1. On Basilisk Station (Apr 92)
2. Honor of the Queen (June 93)
3. The Short Victorious War (Apr 94)
4. Field of Dishonor (Dec 94)
5. Flag In Exile (Sep 95)
6. Honor Among Enemies (Feb 96)
7. In Enemy Hands (Jul 97)
8. More Than Honor (Jan 98)(Anthology)
9. Echoes of Honor (Oct 98)
10. World of Honor (Feb 99)(Anthology)
11. Ashes of Victory (Mar 00)
12. Changer of Worlds (Mar 01)(Anthology)
13. War of Honor (Oct 02)
14. The Service of the Sword (Apr 03)(Anthology)
15. Crown of Slaves (Sep03)
16. The Shadow of Saganami (Oct 04)
17. At All Costs (Nov 05)
18. Storm from the Shadows (Mar 09)
19. Torch of Freedom (Nov 09)
20. Mission of Honor (June 10)
21. In Fire Forged (Feb 11) (Anthology)
22. A Rising Thunder (Mar 12)
23. Shadow of Freedom (Mar 13)
24. House of Steel (May 13) (Compendium)
25. Beginnings (July 13) (Anthology)
26. Cauldron of Ghosts (Apr 14)

The next book is still a while away, but it will be bringing the three branches of the story back together. If you have finished all of the above, you can check out The Star Kingdom series (A Beautiful Friendship, Fire Season, and Treecat Wars) and the first book in the Manticore Ascendant series, A Call to Duty.

Not really. David Weber wasn't working on the next mainline Honorverse novel when he last gave us an update, but he's been working on other series lately.

Cauldron of Ghosts ends a little later, but is mostly the follow-up to Torch of Freedom. And other than that there's the Beginnings anthology, the first Honorverse Companion book (House of Steel), the final Stephanie Harrington book (Treecat Wars), and the first Manticore Ascendant book (A Call to Duty).

Baen has scheduled the next book in the Manticore Ascendant series, A Call to Arms, for October 2015 (per the Baen Publishing Schedule webpage).

wasn't a call to arms the story in Beginnings where we first came across Travis Long?

before a Call to Duty was published, I mean.

Yes.
I'd guess, given the repeated name, that the novel will include and expand on that short story -- probably putting it near the end of the book (so it can cover Travis's service between the end of ACtD and the short story).

Yeah.

My guess is it'll be like what the did with A Beautiful Friendship: half the book will be the original short story (maybe with a few additions), then the rest will push on from that point.

Given the timeline, I wouldn't be surprised if they add a bit in the beginning, too, to cover Travis' early college/OCS/officer career.

well that should be interesting. Timothy zhan gave us several several interesting short stories and a call to duty was also very interesting.

shall look forward to the next collab even more now that i know its fairly close to release.
