FYI for all of us pleaders and whiners - we are #2! Looking at the posts on our beloved Safehold forum, only the massive "Midst Toil and Tribulation Snippet Discussion" (currently on page 49) exceeds this thread in number of replies. Given that we only have another 4 months before our cravings are satisfied, I regard it as unlikely that this thread would exceed the above's account unless we keep this going to politely ask [badger] MWW for snippets on the NEXT book.
Oops - Late News Bulletin from Amazon - HFQ is now delayed to Tuesday, October 13, 2015! That gives us an extra month to whine and plead for minimally nourishing snippets! -----
What say you, my peers? |

Since this thread adds about two pages per snippet, and considerably more when the next snippet takes over two weeks to arrive, unless RFC begins posting on his original 10 day schedule on a regular basis, it's inevitable that this thread will end up being the longest. Note that it's competing with a thread that encompassed all of the snippets for MTaT, which basically proves that we're a bunch of whiners and addicts who get cranky and desperate for our next snippet fix whenever a new snippet is posted "late." I'd prefer to say that we're a dedicated group of fans who greatly admire RFC's work, but you've got to call a spade a spade. Oh - to add insult to injury, if the publication date has been delayed, RFC is either going to have to increase the interval between snippets, or reduce the size of them so he only snippets the amount of the book that he intended before the publication date slipped. Isn't this a great way to start a Monday? I feel better already! "Oh bother", said Pooh as he glanced through the airlock window at the helmet he'd forgotten to wear. |

All right, enjoy my new tagline! "Oh bother", said Pooh as he glanced through the airlock window at the helmet he'd forgotten to wear. |

A new snippet of SotS has been posted for our delectation - thanks again MWW! So there just [i]might[i] be an HFQ snippet coming.
Cheers John |

Its been ten days time to start the expected snippet begging.....
I here by grovel, beg, plead, whine , cry, lament, and embarrass myself in whatever way hastens the arrival of additional snippets... |

Since Baen has now released the E-ARC of SotS, then RFC now longer needs to snippet it. So he could do TWICE as many snippets from HFQ and the *total* number of snippets he uploads would be unchanged. I put this motion to a vote. Does anybody second it? |
