Time for the snivelling and grovelling to begin, you beggars...

And the twitching.
And the drooling.
And the dribbling.
And the mumbling.
And the muttering.
And the walking around shouting.
And the calling other people Jimmy.

And the waving placards saying : "Why lie? I need a snippet."

'Oh, oh' he said in English. Evidently, he had completely mastered that language.

In RFC's defense, the last snippet was much longer than I expected. I'm afraid that it concluded the scene with St. Kohdy's journal though. (Just when things were getting really interesting, of course!)

I generally don't check in expecting a snippet more often than every two weeks, but after the tantalizing finale of the last snippet, even I'm beginning to become impatient - and I usually try to be the voice of reason by kidding the supplicants on this thread that not enough time has passed for a new snippet, and that perhaps RFC is busy with a convention, traveling, or Sharon's health.

However, I'll now go on record as saying that it's time for a new snippet. I hope that it begins with Merlin still reading the journal, but I'm not expecting it to...

If you analyze the series, most of the fun stuff and revelations occur in the latter parts of each book, after the snippets are over. I hope we learn more of the journal's contents before September, but I can see the distinct possibility that we won't. After all, it has the potential to be a bombshell that alters the entire series, like the existence of St. Zherneau's did. Let's just hope that RFC's diabolical sense of humor doesn't toy with us that much, and that Merlin muses over the journal's contents while flying to his and Aivah's next destination. (That may not be the way to bet, but I'm praying to be proven wrong!) ;)

"Oh bother", said Pooh as he glanced through the airlock window at the helmet he'd forgotten to wear.

GOSH! Now who would have thunk that! It's almost like the author - GASP! - PLANNED it that way.

But that would make him <Dum Dum DA> FIENDISH!

I see that you know RFC rather well...

Three five-days since last fix.  The (collective we) addicts need to send out the Baker Street irregulars to find our shameless word dealer for another hit.

Sorry about the thumb fingered spelling error.

Ft Leavenworth? And you misspell addict? Did you learn nothing at Hudson High? Or was it that spell at the 'Five-sided Puzzle Palace on the Potomac' that shivered your brain?

Regardless, I 'ditto' your effort to get another info-drop from that voracious consumer of low-nutrition vegetation! Surely we can have 2 within the fine month of April, right? (And no, I'm not calling RFC a Shirley!)
