It occurred to me some while back, while reading this forum, that we seem to have quite the diverse, if highly technical, set of readers here. Judging from some of the commentary, we've got a lot of hard science types, and in general technically minded people here.
Another author I read as voraciously as I do RFC, has a similar following on his message board/blog. So I am curious now, what everyone does for a living. I was in the US Navy, and have a degree in Nuclear Technology. I work on nuclear power plants. |

Part-time Checkout operator and inwards goods, as have just graduated with a bachelors of science, and looking for a full-time job now. What I find funny though is that for inwards goods, I spend more time on the cursed paperwork than i do on the actual goods with receiving them..... In a manual job.....

Corporate Finance. I have previously waited tables as well as built and tore down industrial shelving systems. Can't say I have actually stacked shelves, though.

So if we see you running it would be a good idea to keep up eh? Currently working as software developer, has worked as an electrician, hardware designer (EE) and have also done some research on digital video in the 90's. --- Jack of all trades and destructive tinkerer. Anyone who have simple solutions for complex problems is a fool. |

Working for national tax prep firm as a seasonal employee - Enrolled Agent level. During off season (2 weeks away) watch and invest in stock market and care for invalid brother. Being of retirement age, will be doing some travel until next tax training season comes. If the Government is in session, tax laws WILL CHANGE!
