OH HELL YEAH

Eureka was OK. She was great. (and hot)
Oscar St. Just: Adam Baldwin

Bruce Gray - the Interrogator from Babylon 5 episode Intersections In Real Time
Cathy Montaigne: Summer Glau

How about Amy Adams.
Anton Zilwicki: Vin Diesel

Nope, Anton the Giant Dwarf is about twice as wide as Vin Diesel.
Paul Tankersley: Sean Murray

Or Denzel Washington
Shannon Foraker: Jewel Staite

When I saw Lisa Kennedy Montgomery on Fox News, I said "Wow! Shannon Foraker!"
Javier Giscard: Nicholas Cage

No. Just no. How about Matt Frewer?

That guy's creepier but not as menacing.

Intersections In Real Time
Cathy Montaigne: Summer Glau

How about Amy Adams.

I kinda think of Cathy as almost fragile-looking

Anton Zilwicki: Vin Diesel

Nope, Anton the Giant Dwarf is about twice as wide as Vin Diesel.

The only guy I can think of who's really wide enough is Duane Jones (aka The Rock). He's *way* too tall. There are several NBA players who might be great in the role, except ... about that way too tall thing...

Paul Tankersley: Sean Murray

Or Denzel Washington

No, you don't want Tankersley to be older than Honor, do you?

Shannon Foraker: Jewel Staite

When I saw Lisa Kennedy Montgomery on Fox News, I said "Wow! Shannon Foraker!"

I refuse to sort thru the Faux News clones to identify one in particular.

Javier Giscard: Nicholas Cage

No. Just no. How about Matt Frewer?

Cage has the right ... weirdness. And age.

Um ... no. What about Andrew Scott?

I can't actually see Noah Wyle as Andrew LaFollett, because LaFollett is a redhead with green eyes. (Not as strikingly so as Miranda, maybe, but still ...) and Wyle's a fairly tall guy.

I could buy Martin Freeman there, or Rupert Graves.
If he wasn't so tall, even Rupert Gint (speaking of somebody who could be Carson Clinkscales ...)

I might be a little bit hopelessly in love with him.

Am I talking about Norm Lewis, or Augustus Khumalo?

...yes.

But that's Oscar's secret - he's not menacing; he looks like a harmless clerk or accountant. He doesn't intimidate people; he just has them killed.

Michael Emerson is basically how I've always imagined Saint-Just.

Holy Havenite horrors. Emerson would make a perfect Saint-Just! Just damn perfect. Another cast of perfection!!

Welcome to the forums Blackswimmer. Grab ye an Old Tilman and charge it to Harrington's account. Kick off your shoes and prop your feet up on the coffee table and enjoy.

If you abhor alcohol like myself, then have an untainted beer, like a "root." But do hurry, we're running low on supplies. Rootbeer is imported in from Old Chicago and we haven't had a shipment since Lacoon went into effect.

But just because it's basically a soda, beware. It's still very expensive and only the first drink is on the house.

After all, we're catered by the very posh Dempseys, and supply and demand, you see. ;)

Son, your mother says I have to hang you. Personally I don't think this is a capital offense. But if I don't hang you, she's gonna hang me and frankly, I'm not the one in trouble. —cthia's father. Incident in ? Axiom of Common Sense

Same came to my mind. Emerson could get lost in a crowd until you look in his eyes, and see the driven, almost crazed look in them.

St Just was a Himmler without some of the weird tendancies - just an unforgettable, unimposing, bland man of medium height, medium features, and a driven passion in his eyes, who could sign a million death warrants, shoot the traitor who turned on him while looking him in the eyes, then drive to his unsupossing home and play with his kids while chatting with his wife about her flowers in the greenhouse.

And the next morning do it again without a qualm.

Adam Baldwin is too much the tough guy. As the gun/grenade toting mercenary Jayne in Firefly, He was prefect. As the NSA enforcer/assassin in Chuck, totally believeable. As an unassuming clerk.... not so much. He's to much a Ramierez (but not quite big enough) or a Denver Sommersdale (but almost too big and menacing).
