Basic Living Snippets are a right, not a privilege!

They are a basic right of every Citizen of Safehold Forums!

<yes, yes... acute low level of blood snippets... what can I do...>

I've passed the time by re-reading the whole series including all the snippets. There where a couple of aha-moments in the earlier books when you know how the story will evolve and how RFC has sprinkled little tidbits here and there about it. :)

Clearly the lack of snippets is the work of the plutocrats of Charis, who add to their rank heresy a basic disrespect for the free fiction hits every child of God has as a basic right.

Please see your local recruiter for the People's Navy of God to show those Charisians what's what and reclaim your due snippets!

Boy do I ever agree with that. Perhaps it's time to take the pitchforks and torches to the publisher's door step. That seems to be the bottle-neck.

Ya'all like living dangerously don't ya? You do know that the Mad Wizard is an incredibly busy fellow, with tons of obligations, who doesn't actually have to post such literary catnip among us, hmmmmmm? And could, at any time, simply allow us to swing from the end of a yardarm, metaphorically speaking?

And it ought to be very clear from some other, HONORable writings of his, where he stands on the issue of Peoples anything.

NO let it be clear that I, for one, stand solidly on the Royal authors prerogative, like the Martyaxwar of old Persia, to defend himself from all you fanatical, People's BLS craving whingers! Long live the Royal authors guild prerogatives! String us along like the commoner, plebe, puppets we are! It's no better than we deserve.

Burn that royalist heretic the stake, so that others may see the error of his ways. Let us usher in a new era of snippets. Down with the tyranny of the author.

(Please forgive me and give me a snippet. Just a little one please. I won't do it. I'll be good. PLEASEEEE!!! whimper....)

Now now. Clearly, the Author is on the side of the People. It is from him that the snippets ultimately flow - indeed, entire books emanate from him once or twice a year. It is inconceivable that he would deny us the snippets we are due. The culprit must be some other agency... some infernal agency. Perhaps publishers. Perhaps winter. Perhaps mucus. Whatever it is, it must be brought under the People's control and made to do such wickedness no longer!

DOWN WITH COLDS! VIVA LA REVOLUTION!!!

NO, NO, Please do not burn my steak! I ordered medium rare, as always! Burnt steak is a true abomination!

What, he was saying what? What? At the stake? Oh well that's different (to quote Emily Litella). Never-mind.

And put down that torch you plebe!

I warn you, I have armed bears to defend me! (Circus training, you see.)

Hi everybody!

Thanks to all for their humor here. 8-)

It appears our favorite source of snippets feels we're too fat snippet wise, like a certain occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania avenue in DC, and has decided we must all go on a diet of just one or two a month, for our own better sake, whatever we may think, until the middle of September.

Perhaps RFC is ahead in the word count for where the snippets stop, about 30% on average of his books, and at one half of one percent per snippet, more than a couple dozen snippets might be too sudden a shock for our system.

There are other RFC books coming out, that may divert us from Safehold, but whenever the snippets come they do keep me focused on just that one creation of RFC's, for which I'm very thankful for whatever we get.

Any snippet or post from RFC is good if not great!
