Similarly, you'll notice that the blurb states "Now major realms have begun to consider switching sides."

Well, the way the war has been going - that's hardly surprising isn't it!

Does anyone have a link to a rendering of the EoC Flag that would fly on all ships? My thought towards your suggestion that it is the awakened angels is to try and look at the flag of the ship being fired upon, and determine the nationality of it. :ugeek:

If it was awakening angels I would suspect that they would want to come in all their glory, i.e. not standing on the deck of a ship! ;)

There's another possibility: RFC noted that the inner circle is going to discover that the OBS is also capable of smaller scale destruction. Judging by what Aivah said to Merlin in the beginning of HFQ (about the "Dawn Star" and her familiarity with Seijin Khody's "chariot" it's entirely possible that the OBS has docks with several types of military spacecrafts. Now we know Merlin isn't in the business of killing off job lots of people - which is why he hasn't gone after Zion directly or attempted to trigger the OBS in the temple vicinity. But if he could trigger a much smaller, more limited response - like a skimmer attack - against a church target, it would still be considered by the unenlightened to be a rakurai attack. Perhaps that's what we're seeing.

The galleon pictured in the cover art doesn't have an ICN sail configuration.

ummmmm - what spoilers in particular?

BTW to my eyes I'd have to say that the entire title is a pretty clear give away that maybe there might be some discussion of HFQ! :)

Have to agree. How could a discussion of the HFQ Cover and Synopsis not contain spoilers? The Official Snippet threads aren't marked as spoilers either - some things are just obvious.

All we have to discuss in this forum at this point in time are spoilers or pure speculation.

A cover and advertising blurb is not considered a spoiler--it is advertising. As this very thread has noted, it often bears little resemblance to the actual contents, and almost never provides actual spoilers. Discussion about the cover is not necessarily spoilers, either--it usually is speculation or complaints about the cover. Speculation is not spoilers unless it mentions specific content which has not yet been published, or has not been available in published form long enough. If the discussion contains spoilers, please either mark the spoilers in the specific post (which I would prefer, so I can continue to read the non-spoiler posts) or mark the entire thread a spoiler.

I'm talking about the discussion a few posts up about a certain organization which has not appeared yet in the published books.

I had already forgotten that it was not known before HFQ. This snippeting at a snail pace thing is getting really confusing : it feels as if there was a book between LaMA and HFQ except there isn't. Kind of like, the next book is so far away, that things we already know about it feel like they were in the previous books.

Why would Merlin and Nimue be on the same ship? I can understand one of them if the Emperor and Empress were, but having both Sejin's on the same boat defeats the purpose of there being 2 of them.
