This may have been asked before but what time zone are the servers in? I am making this post at 8AM Saturday Feb 14 ( Happy Valentines day everyone) but it will show as 9am.

I think the posts show the time according to the time zone of the reader. Mine shows yours at 1pm for example and I'm in GMT or Zulu time for those with a military background. |

You can set the TZ in your user control panel. It's found on the forum main-page just above the list of the forums.

It is actually adjustable.
If you click on the "User Control Panel" on the Log in screen at the top. Then on "Board Prefences" on the right. The third from the bottom entry is for "your" time zone. Hope it helps. Have fun, T2M -----------------------

Check your Daylight Savings Time setting. I keep it turned off and change to MST instead of PST when "Spring Forward" rolls around. It sometimes takes a month or more for servers and forum software packages to catch up -- and some never do. .
. . Answers! I got lots of answers! (Now if I could just find the right questions.) |

I believe for a while changing the DST settings did not work on this site. I remember one day it randomly started working.

It does now, I just reset the DST setting. (don't forget to hit the "reset" button) |

I just changed to Atlantic standard time, which should put the correct time on my posts. Thanks to everyone for pointing various things out. Edited: Went to Central time for a better time. --
