I used to be cold all the time. In part, the weight loss contributed to me being cold all the time. What else I found that giving blood depletes the iron within the body. As a result, the doctor ordered me to take an iron supplement to counter act the imbalance within the my body. Presto, I am doing much better.

White bread, rice, potatoes, pasta and so on is not your friend.

A ILL book worth reading:

"Nutrition and Physical Degeneration," by Weston A Price DDS. (reprinted)

About eight decades ago, he and his wife spent ten years or so researching health (especially dental) and diet. Their method was to locate an isolated people that had good health, and compare with the standard population. Many isolated people would have nutritious diets, but most people have a "modern" diet, including large amounts of processed flour in breads, etc. and sugars.

One isolated people he researched AVERAGED one small cavity for every 200 or so persons.

When just out of school, being short on cash I went to a diet of: Oatmeal, powdered milk, a tablespoon of peanut butter, and a fresh fruit. Until reading this book, I didn't notice that there were no dental problems then, unlike before and after.

BJ gets teased by my mentioning the bachelor diet :) She likes a bit more variety. Sorry to say she also likes sugary candy, and has a tooth plate now. Weight is a problem caused by wrong calories, but other problems can happen if the quality isn't there.
