Heaven bend to take my hand
Nowhere left to turn
I'm lost to those I thought were friends
To everyone I know
Oh they turn their heads embarassed
Pretend that they don't see
But it's one missed step
One slip before you know it
And there doesn't seem a way to be redeemed...

Funny enough, yes and no! That was my original thought when I selected the lyrics, but as I made the post I realized that I'd actually chosen them for Haven herself.

My first thought (perhaps being that I've just been re-reading about him) was Sinead Therkov to her far-distant husband Aivars...

As for me, this is for one person storyline in one particular book...but it should be easy enough to figure out.

She had a dream, boy it was a good one;
And she chased after her dream with much desire.
But when she got too close to her expectation;
Well her dreamed burned up like paper in fire.

Not a bad thought, but it's actually Tom Theisman to Eloise, in the wake of Lovat and Beatrice.

That is a good one, and probably even better than my thought, but I had been thinking of Eloise during War of Honor as she pursued peace but ended up with war once again.

But I really do like your answer better.

Aaw, thank you!! And it really does apply to Eloise too.

Speaking of my girl: this isn't part of the game, but I couldn't resist.

Yesterday I died, tomorrow's bleeding
Fall into your sunlight
The future's open wide, beyond believing
To know why, hope dies
Losing what was found, a world so hollow
Suspended in a compromise
The silence of this sound, is soon to follow
Somehow, sundown...

Although, the holidays, full-blast karaoke, Taylor Swift, my sisters, nieces, and their friends, has this ditty running an endless loop in my head.

This one's still dangling.

Son, your mother says I have to hang you. Personally I don't think this is a capital offense. But if I don't hang you, she's gonna hang me and frankly, I'm not the one in trouble. —cthia's father. Incident in ? Axiom of Common Sense

Victor and Thandi?

Actually I was thinking of Vitor and Ginnie. It always set Victor on edge with her suggestions, but Thandi kinda works too.

As I came up with the quote I was thinking hamish for Honor, in how he couldn't honorably act on it and it was driving them both nuts, but as I typed it Victor and Ginnie popped into my head.

Coouple of possiblites:
Honor and Young, even though they were never together.
Kusak and Hamish after she helped heal him.
Elain Comandorski and Young, when she tipped off Sarnows cheif of staff about Summervales location.
