I don't really like to prognosticate bad news, but if the Christmas snippet was early as a result of the season and the content of that snippet, then to get back on schedule, rfc may wait 20 or 21 days from the previous snippet to return to schedule. That would be this weekend.

I don't know how far along my withdrawal symptoms will have progressed by then. So, I hope it is undue pessimism on my part.

How much productivity would be saved if there was a new snipit has been posted alert system...... otherwise I leave a tab open and refresh every.... <XX> minutes. Where xx starts at about 120 and rapidly deteriorates into single digits!

Good idea. Perhaps something along the lines of the Bat-signal shining in the sky, but featuring a treecat instead of a bat. "The snippet signal, quick to the keyboard."

Ten days from #16 is Saturday. But RFC did say that one was late, and 20 days from Christmas would be tomorrow. How lucky do you feel today? ;)

You would probably sit there going "why haven't I received notification yet" and then check the forums anyway. I know I would.
