Where's my English Jargon Dictionary?

Earlier someone was kind enough :evil: to explain that you can't always take what looks like a combined word in German and derive its meaning. I agreed, and this is an example of why: postpone means reschedule or delay, but;
post = after
pone = cornbread
So - We'll meet after cornbread.

When I was a youngster, Oral-intercourse was defined as any conversation or debate.
Nevermind the snide comments we made about what it should mean.
Today's internet dictionaries have taken our point of view.

So would you ask an English male to Knock-up your fiancée while you're away?
