If true that's an improvement over mid-Nov 2015.

Whoa, whoa, here guys... let's stop, take a breath and clarify...

I could be wrong here, but as I understand what what said above is that the Wargod book will be September 15. RFC stated that HFQ is to be released Nov. 1, so I'm not sure where the Nov. 15 date is coming from.

So... does someone else have a better way of sorting this out?

I have just been to the Amazon web site. The release date for Sword of the South is given as 4 August, 2015
The release date for Hells Foundations Quiver is given as 8 September 2015.

Now it is possible that Amazon has got it wrong, but that's what the web site says

Amazon.CA says the same thing. Also checked B&N and Chapters-Indigo, and it's not listed there at all.

Amazon UK hasn't heard of it. But it is selling a book by one
W T Keeton published in July this year called 'Hell's Foundations Quiver' which appears to be a C22nd dystopia novel. Can any of the libarians (or, ahem, you should excuse my language, lawyers) hereabouts tell us how that works? Can you legally have 2 sci-fi books with certain similarities of theme by different people using the same title?

I'm not a librarian or a lawyer but to the best of my knowledge there's no law (in any country) against two (or more) books with the same title.

I just search Amazon.com for the title "This Rough Magic" and easily got three different books.

One is by Mary Stewart (which I knew about).

One is by Mercedes Lackey, Eric Flint and Dave Freer which I also knew about.

The third is a Kindle book by an author that I hadn't heard about.

In the US you cannot copy-write book titles only the content of the books.

Oh yeah. I was waiting for Jim Butcher's Skin Game of the Dresden Files, and got notified when four other books were available. Topics: Prostitution, Slave Trade, those who cut themselves intentionally, and Plastic Surgery.

Oddly enough, in US Thoroughbred horse racing, all name are required to be unique. Of course, a second Secretariat coming in dead last might tend to irritate the betting public. So if I bet on a horse by name, I know what I am getting BUT if I buy a book by name, I had better know what I am buying. Thus the ISBN number and referencing book name AND author!

I wouldn't trust the Amazon date too much... they have a tendency to put up placeholders.
