It looks like Mr. Foster has turned in a new Pip & Flinx novel, No release date yet!

But something to add my list of books to watch out for! :)

I kind of burned out on ADF's Pip & Flinx a while back as the trending doom kept creeping but the books kept proliferating. The amalgamation of the Humanx commonwealth was/is very well done and his stories setting up the history of that joining of the Humans and Thranx is worth the re-read.

Still, I will look for this new novel and hope that he starts closing the open story lines rather than adding new ones! Thanks for the heads-up!

I'm afraid that the last few Flinx books have left me a little cold. Flinx is getting a little too angst ridden, and the impending doom scenario almost leaves me with he feeling that ADF has painted himself into a corner, and isn't quite sure how to get himself out without resorting to some sort of massive deus de machina.
