Dr. Alison Harrington. She heals worlds. Keep the spotlights, keep the action, keep the glory - heal worlds, I tell you.

"That looks like your snotty, Senior Chief." The Marine sentry's low-pitched voice exuded an oddly gleeful sympathy. It was the sort of voice in which a Marine traditionally informed one of the Navy's "vacuum-suckers" that his trousers had just caught fire or something equally exhilarating, and Senior Chief Petty Officer Roland Shelton ignored the jarhead's tone with lofty disdain of any superior life form for an evolutionary inferior. Yet it was a bit harder than usual this time as his eyes followed the corporal's almost invisible nod and picked the indicated target out of the crowded space dock gallery. She was certainly someone's snotty, he acknowledged without apparently so much as looking in her direction.

That's Corporal Carras (from MMH)
Corporal Carras—the same corporal, Honor realized suddenly, who had been War Maiden's tube sentry when she first joined the ship.

Definitely true. Me being a tall, single Alfred Harrington type, if you want to send me an Allison ..... Harrington clone for Christmas, I heartily accept! Even if shes like 90 years old and will live another couple hundred years.

I didn't take time to read all the entries; how about a couple that ought to be more than a placeholder?

Let's have Roger and Rivka honeymoon in Talbott!

This is for you, Rose. ;)

At which point they, in the haze of honeymoon love, play matchmaker for Augustus and Estelle.

Long as you are in matchmaking mode--HoS puts Susan Hibson in Talbott as the Marine Co. I always liked her too. So match her up!

from my nick, obviously Alistair McKeon

Otherwise, two people who have gotten very little book time due to their youth

Rachel Mayhew
Honor Mayhew

Probably more Rachel as I think Honor is still too young

Honor Mayhew. What a resounding ring to that name.

And of course, we know of a particular conversation looming over the horizon between Benjamin and little Honor ...

With a resolute stance and little fists clenched "Well of course I'm going to join the navy father! I have a reputation to uphold! Butts to kick! SD's to blow into space bunnies! Heads of States to bluff with ultimatums! My...name...is...Honor! And I shall honor it, with beams and broadsides!"

Little ten year old Honor and poor Benjamin.

Son, your mother says I have to hang you. Personally I don't think this is a capital offense. But if I don't hang you, she's gonna hang me and frankly, I'm not the one in trouble. —cthia's father. Incident in ? Axiom of Common Sense
