Looking at the Nov. 2015 cal., the release date is likely to be the first Tues. Nov. 3 or second Tues, the 10th.
Just my WAG. :>)

To the best of my knowledge, there has been no slippage since David turned the manuscript in late (due to personal reasons), and got the 1 November date. Have you heard anything different?

Since the 'personal reasons' were RFC's wife's illness and surgery, have we heard anymore about Sharon's recovery? Since I think that they both went to Europe, it appears that her health has improved. : :P

I before an official date was announced I, among others, expected the release date to be be sometime in the spring. For a while this seemed to recede until the date was finally fixed in November. While the official date has not slipped, the EXPCTED ( and hoped for) date certainly has.

I was a school librarian for almost twenty years and I became and remain puzzled by the publishing industry. Especially their dog-in-a-manger behavior, but that is a rant for another day.

Yes, but the point people were making is that the problem with the expected date was due to the manuscript being late. Once the manuscript was turned in, the actual publication date was announced; there has been no slippage from the date announced by Tor, and there probably will not be any slippage.

Not entirely; IIRC the date wasn't announced for a while after we heard the manuscript was turned in, and I think 14 months is a bit unusually long. (Or maybe not... but this isn't really a very long book for Tor, given they publish Brandon Sanderson, so...)
