If a country could sue for libel, America would have cause to sue those who repeat these falsehoods.

It seems that in talking about any country there is a strong tendency to either glamorize or disparage it. One SF story had the theme that somehow they had managed to get everyone to have a light on their forehead which would light up if they lied. Give you strong odds that if anything along that lines gets done, there will be a back door exception for some people. :twisted:

But whining and complaining won't likely change your situation or how you feel.

The old bait and switch racket was used. Too often politicos use that with us. That is one reason to study at least recent history, such as voting records, and the real world results, if any.

Unless plain speaking is allowed, clear thinking is denied.
