He can't post it while travelling, we'll just have to wait till he gets back.

Why not? It's not like it takes an extraordinary amount of equipment! My computer weighs less than 2 pounds, has a keyboard, a mouse, a 128GB SSD and a 64GB XD card and I take it on trips with me.

Because the lovely Mrs Weber will shoot him with the excellent man-stopping handgun he gave her if he does any work while they are on vacation? :D

Randomiser, you beat me to the punch  Seriously, a vacation is supposed to be exactly that: a break from the day to day thing, and based on the amount of words our talented Wizard produces, it's well deserved.

And,TBH, if I had to choose between ticking of, oh, say, God and my talented and lovely wife, well, I'd take my chances with God....

First: an apology to the writers, promoters, recording artists, and fans of the song Mister Postman.

TAKE;
Oh yes, Take a minute Mister Weber
Please,
A minute Mister Weber

Mister Weber, look and see
(Oh yeah)
If there's a snippet in your mind for me
(Please, Please Mister Weber)
Why's it takin' such a long time
(Oh yeah)
For me to hear from that story line

There must be some word today
From our Safehold so far away
Please Mister Weber, look and see
If there's a snippet, a snippet for me

I've been standin' here waitin' Mister Weber
So patiently
For just a word, to try an' feel better
Not knowing what I'm going to see

(Mister Weber)
Mister Weber, look and see
(Oh yeah)
If there's a snippet in your mind for me
(Please, Please Mister Weber)
Why's it takin' such a long time
(Oh yeah)
For me to hear from that story line

So many days have passed me by
With the tears buildin' in my eyes
You didn't think, did you Dave Weber
That a snippet, would make me feel better

(Mister Weber)
Mister Weber, look and see
(Oh yeah)
If there's a snippet in your mind for me
(Please, Please Mister Weber)
Why's it takin' such a long time
To complete that story line

Take a minute and you will see,
How much better I will be
Send a snippet
Send a snippet
(Oh yeah)
Send a snippet
Send a snippet
Mister Weber
I'll feel better

Mister Weber, look and see
You've got to have a snippet for me

In Nature the meanest animal is a mother defending her young. A few years ago a nature filmmaker recorded a encounter between a female badger and a grizzly. The bear was trying to dig out and eat the badgers kits and the badger was having none of it. The badger was such a fierce fighter that the grizzly backed off after about 15-20 minute fight. Remember a badger weighs about 25-30lbs while a grizzly will weigh 8-900lbs.

And Who would blame her? (although we would probably all be quite upset with her)

Besides "being on vacation", in the snippet he just posted he commented on problems with internet connections.

Since, he's made this sort of trip before, he was likely aware that he might have problems connecting with the internet. :)

I know its only been 7 days since the last snippet, but its been 26 days since snippet 10, and I am starting to suffer withdrawal symptoms from insufficient continuing snippets. Please Mr. Weber, could we have another snippet. whimper, whimper

Hey! David Weber has been on vacation. Now he has to recover from the vacation!

Seriously, David Weber may have a backlog of things to do that he wasn't able to deal with while on vacation.

Some of those things may involve him making money and family.

Posting snippets (as much as we love them) isn't reasonably on top on his "things he has to do" list.

Mind you, I want the snippets RIGHT NOW!
