Ah, yes. The line queing up for a piece of Clyntahn gets longer and longer. My vote is for Adorai to move to the front of the line.

Clyntahn is a despicable piece of work. That being said however, he's about as cunning as they come. I say that before he gets killed off, Merlin should record him and hand him over to Owl and Nahrman. They should give him full disclosure and put him to use working to put down the Gababa. That way he will get to 'live' for purposes of living, with everything that he's done, and with full knowledge of the lie that was perpetrated. It would serve as both a punishment and an atonement.

Or simply record him and put him in some form of perpetual purgatory with Iris in charge. Given his level of vileness, I'm good with either. :D

Recording and the equipment required to support the recordings are way too valuable to waste on Clyntahn. Just hang him and have done with it.

Anything else is accompanied by really icky karma.

Well, for Clyntahn there should be something special. The following dialog would be fun.

"That f**king b#tch! She just killed me! Me, the arm of Langhorne in the world, the fist of Schueler against the unfaithful, the hammer ..."

"AHEM, THERE IS NO REASON TO BE OVERLY AGITATED OVER YOUR DEATH. WOULD IT HELP IF YOU THINK OF YOURSELF AS DIMENSIONALLY DISADVANTAGED?"

"..."

"NOW, I HAVE OTHER ENGAGEMENTS. WOULD YOU MIND IF I JUST SHOW YOU THE WAY TO THIS LANGHORNE GUY'S PLACE AS YOU ARE SO INEXPLICABLY EAGER TO JOIN HIM."

No! No! Clyntahn has to cross the black desert and there are plenty of shades waiting for him in it before he reaches Langhorne's final place.
Cheers

I wouldn't share the assumption that tangling with the shades is less pleasant than joining Langhorne - for eternity.

Rather depends on what Langhorne can do to him doesn't it?

It's not what Langhorne would "do to him", it's sharing what's being done to Langhorne.

Regardless of how much he deserves it, I can't see Staynair approving any sort of torture of Clyntahn. He for one understands that vengeance is like drinking rat poison, and then waiting for the rat to die. It WILL come back to haunt you. This is not to say turn the other cheek. Just hang him, and trust to God to take care of what ever punishment is required.
