A fart in the wind is taken away; a fart in a room is apt to stay.

Unless it is wet.

Son, your mother says I have to hang you. Personally I don't think this is a capital offense. But if I don't hang you, she's gonna hang me and frankly, I'm not the one in trouble. —cthia's father. Incident in ? Axiom of Common Sense

Walking under a ladder is bad luck.
Falling off the ladder is rotten luck.

Kudlow's point was that marriage gives people a reason to work, a home one hopes is stable, and children for whom two parents feel responsible.

Also committed trainers of said children. One common mistake today is moving against something because someone insists it has to be perfect.

Perfectionism never produces perfect.

Work on improving and you can't become worse unless outside circumstances overwhelm you.

People don't vote for their governor or for their state assemblies because of how they feel about Washington and its alleged dysfunction.

The version I saw was
Don't knock yogurt - it's the only culture some people have.

And there's always George Carlin's take on it
When yogurt goes bad....how do you tell?

It has bubbles... This I know.

I have been collecting buttons from SF conventions for a long time - some of my favorites.

You don't have to understand something to argue about it.

You know you've been root too long when is easier to change a password then to remember it.

If God didn't want bioengineering, He wouldn't have let us read the table of contents.

The more they complicate the plumbing, the easier it is to stop up the drain.

I only eat organic food. The silicon-based stuff tears up my innards.

And more buttons

Now that the deadline's past, can I please have the spec.

Coding to a spec in like walking on water. It's a lot easier if they are frozen.

When in doubt, press CNTL-ALT-DEL.

There are three kinds of people:
1) Those who can count and
2) those who can't

Those who understand binary and those who don't.

That reminds me of an incident about 45 years ago in Cambridge, Mass. The brother and I were shopping in the COOP, when someone got in the express line (10 items or less) with about 30 items in his cart. The clerk looked at him and said: "You are either from Harvard and can't count or from MIT and can't read."

Well, back to George Carlin:
If two guys are in an elevator and one of 'em farts, everybody knows who did it.
