Since we are getting a little snippet hungry, and since most of us have our own private ideas as to what might happen, I thought a little game might be in order to while away the hours...

All you have to do is suggest three things which you would really really like or think will happen.

That's the easy part... now to test your talents as readers of RFC's mind and men/women of stunning foresight..
For each event you have to tell us which snippet that will happen in. :twisted: :twisted:

Get one right and you are a MA
Get two right and you are a Sj
Get three right and you have given the game away - you are clearly an FSW or maybe iRFC :-)

to start the game going i'll suggest:

1) Breakfast with Gorthak. BGV has the captured Bishop to breakfast in Snippet 12.
2) Supper in Zion: meal of the GO4 looking moderately cheerful when a messenger comes in with news of the defeat around Fort Tarys - Snippet 14:
3) Sunrise in Gorath Bay. to show the KHV's silently in place outside the port, as Thirsk looks out of his bedroom window - Snippet 20:

Minus snipets.

1. All female Republic troop behind enemy lines, sabotaging supply lines.

2. Aivah Pahrsahn plants a volunteer spy in destroyed village near St. Vyrdyn. Spy is heavily disfigured and poses as an inquisitor Schuelerite. Mission - infiltrate the Temple and ???

3. The Manchyr United take the division title (football / soccer).

This looks like it could be a fun thread. I hope it is enjoyable!

Since I foresee this eventually turning to discussions of whether X person's prediction actually appeared in Y snippet, may I suggest that this thread be preemptively marked SPOILER to explicitly allow such discussion? :)

Snippet 37 Terran Federation assault shuttle landing in the temple plaza to neutralize the threat beneath the temple.

Snippet 10 two books beyond HFQ-- Gathering in the Sky Safehold returns to space.

Snippet 47 four books beyond HFQ--Halleluia, I'm Going Home Gabba threat neutralized. :mrgreen:

Three things that I want to see.

1. I want to see the first time that a scout sniper uses a smokeless round for some sniping, and the results from the opponents perspective. Should be about June or July.

2. I want to see the armored cruiser come across the horizon to engage the opposition fleet. Should be about July or August.

3. I want to see a GO4 meeting after the latest fiasco. Could be as soon as Snippet #12.

I have this "mind's eye" image of one or several coal powered, turret-like* armed Charis ship approaching a Church fleet. It (or they) intentionally approach from the downwind side, and as they take their time firing into the Church's fleet, they literally steer a course around the fleet, and drive circles around them. :D :lol:



*Yea, yea, I know; the latest greatest ships that DW has written about don't actually have turrets. I forget the term, may be "Barbette"?
