Today I posted chapter 16 of The Institute Saga III.
Why is this important, you ask?

I am so glad you asked.
The reason is that the chapter contains a cameo of the wonderful wife of our very own celery runner.
Yep, Sharon Rice-Weber was kind enough to grant me permission to put her into my current story as a cameo character!
Even now, I can barely believe that I had the chutzpah to reverse the normal cameo process (people asking David if he can write them into his books) and I think one of the reasons it worked is that I amused them due to the sheer unexpectedness of it, but...

I know that my writing is nowhere near the heights that David routinely reaches, but I like to think that I'm not too terrible. Either way, I hope that Sharon approves of this set of scenes and those that are upcoming (and yes, I included a suggestion or two that she made... thanks, Sharon!).
So, enjoy reading it.
I certainly enjoyed writing it.

Congrats. You are indeed a much higher level of celebrity than mere posters like myself ;)

Now see if you can sneak the great man himself into your work (maybe a reference to a post another on this forum another character is reading in one of your works. Might as well be totally recessive!)

Technically, I did.
During my pre-publishing exchange of e-mails with Sharon, she suggested that I included a small bit on how David thinks he can write (her suggestion), so I did.
The Institute Saga III, ch17 wrote:“Blast!” Sharon swore. “I need to get back to my husband, I left him trying to write at the Waters Edge Hotel near Corinthian Island. He… thinks he can make a career of it.”

Yep, that was Sharon's suggestion. So you see? Technically, he is (sort of) in.
