Every 10 days work very well. Keep the length appropriate to hit your targeted amount revealed. Sounds like we will have Bahzell snippets out before HFQ is released. Heck, we might even get the next Hell's Gate.

I want RFC to snippet in the way he feels will maximize his sales.

As far as I am concerned, I will greedily read every snippet I can get and however few (or many) there are will not affect my purchase.

Any story RFC creates in ebook form I will buy ASAP.

Heck, I bought the first three Safehold books before I obtained my kindle, and since then, I've purchased ebook copies of those three as well !!

Me too. I actually bought OAR in paperback too for some reason I can't remember, so have all 3 versions.

For what it's worth, I vote for more snippets. I will not only read them all, but will also read Amazons preview when it becomes available, and will still read the book. More than twice :)

I can unfortunately report that as of today I've been officially informed that the release date for HFQ is November 2015. That's right; one year from next month.

The good news is that it gives me a bigger window to work on other projects ---

still - new honorverse book - great news :-)

If I can throw in my two-pennyworth on the snippetting - i'd prefer less often, so we goto the normal 1/3 thru the book on snippets. That way we have more fresh stuff on that magic day when the new book pops thru the front door :D

If I was to choose, I would vote for the next Safehold book a bit sooner. I am a fan of Steve Stirling but I have only read one Emberverse short story and no novels in that series. I can be a bit stubborn when I choose. I read stories, not authors.

He could snippet the whole thing and I'd still buy the book.

Now, now... doing that would only delay the release.
No matter how much fun it might be...

Hi all,

I just send an e-mail to macmillan and asked for the date.
Got a reply after just one day. :)

Good Afternoon,

The current publication date for that title (ISBN 9780765321879) is 11/01/15.

Have a great day

Just searched the ISBN no. and found HFQ's entry on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Hells-Foundations ... 0765321874

Funny thing though - It says the publication date is September 8th, 2015 and not in November. MacMillain Audio confirms this in the purchase section (though it only says September 2015).

Cautiously optimistic cries of joy anyone?
