Yep, that would be my wish too.
I'd also love to know a bit more of what happened between Adrienne and her father after the short story and if they ever fixed that poor guy they programmed to be the assassin. We're going to get a lot from her time as queen, but unless a main character becomes involved with her where not likely to find out much about the intermission and what happened in there and the people involved.
So many characters, so little time (and pages). The MWW can write some interesting portraits of even minor characters, but if we focused on all of their stories, we would need 1,900-page books (I for one have no problem with that, but RFC's publishers' might).
As for Queen Adrienne and her father (the referenced story is What Price Dreams in Worlds of Honor), I imagine it was repaired over time, but like most emotions, it was not quite the same....nearly as good, but different. Life (and humans) are like that.
We do know that as Queen, Adrienne sent Edward Saganami to Silesia and his eventual heroic death (and saw to it that he was avenged). She also apparently ruled well enough that Adrienne is one of Elizabeth II given names and her Yatch (destroyed in Ashes of Victory) was named Queen Adrienne.
