I am trying to remember what which book had the story about HH in charge of the Search and Rescue of a ski resort after snow crashed down upon the resort.

To be more specific, the story is "The Hard Way Home" written by the MWW himself, and co-starring with Honor a certain gum-chewing young woman with dreams of becoming a Marine who we've seen in the mainline novels a few times.
